ALEDO, Illinois – BankORION and the local business community recently celebrated the opening of a new bank branch here.

A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony were held Friday, July 17, for the new BankORION, located at 301 SE Third St.

“We’re excited to continue serving the community from our updated space and appreciate everyone who helped make the day special,” bank officials said on BankORION’s  Facebook page.

    The Aledo bank branch lobby hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Drive-up hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday; and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The Aledo expansion is the latest development for the bank. About two years ago, BankORION converted a vacant commercial building at 4700 Kennedy Drive, East Moline, into its new operations center. (That center houses the bank’s administrative services, office space and information technology services.)

BankORION has more than 134 years of experience in financial services with total assets of more than $641 million.  In addition to Aledo, BankORION also operates full-service branches in Orion, Cambridge, Moline and Annawan, Illinois, as well as a branch in Bettendorf.
