Bald Eagle Days 2026 returns to the Quad Cities beginning Friday through Sunday, Jan. 9 to 11, at the QCCA Expo Center, 2621 4th Ave, Rock Island.

The event is coordinated by the Quad City Conservation Alliance (QCCA), an organization made up of five clubs who together focus on educating, promoting and actively participating in local conservation efforts throughout the Quad Cities.

Adult tickets are $6 and children aged 6 to 15 are $1, children under 5 are free. Sponsors include: Arconic, Holiday Inn Rock Island, Modern Woodmen of America and the Electric Doctor.

The QCCA invites families, educators and young naturalists to explore hands-on activities designed to promote conservation, water stewardship and appreciation for the natural world.

Bald Eagle Days will include a series of workshops on eagles, bats, birds of prey and other wildlife. There also will be numerous vendors at the show.

River Action, a Quad Cities nonprofit focused on the Mississippi River’s vitality, will host an interactive booth featuring a variety of engaging projects. They include: a “Make It Rain” rain barrel toss to demonstrate the function of rain barrels, a guided animal drawing workshop led by River Action’s AmeriCorps members, and take-home clay stamp projects.

Its staff and volunteers also will be on hand to showcase the interactive “Retain the Rain” display, highlighting the organization’s initiative to manage stormwater, reduce runoff and protect local waterways. River Action is dedicated to fostering the environmental, economic and cultural vitality of the Mississippi River and its riverfront through education, advocacy and community engagement.

Young visitors are encouraged to pick up a Bald Eagle Days Passport and explore exhibits across the event. The River Action booth will connect wildlife imagery and activities to the river and surrounding habitats, linking conservation, recreation and community action.
