Get ready for a morning of mimosas, masterpieces, and fun at Art Off the Wall, the Figge Art Museum’s annual art auction fundraiser, to be held on Sunday, March 16.
The auction, which will run from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m., offers you a chance to take home incredible artworks whether you’re an avid collector or a first-time bidder.
Hosted by Bobby Ray Bunch – a Quad Cities performer, comedian, and all-around entertainer – the event promises laughs, lively bidding and a lineup of stunning pieces, including paintings, photography, ceramics, antiques, sculptures, jewelry, and more.
“Art Off the Wall is about bringing our community together to support the Figge and the arts,” Figge Interim Director of Development Sara Morby said in a news release. “This event helps us raise the funds needed to keep art accessible and to continue offering educational programs and exhibitions that inspire creativity for everyone.”
For art lovers who cannot attend in person, you can still participate and support the Figge by purchasing raffle tickets online for a chance to win a beautiful vase crafted by Quad Cities artists Steve Sinner and Pat Bereskin (valued at $525). Ticket pricing is $10 for one ticket, $25 for three or $40 for five.
All proceeds from Art Off the Wall directly benefit the Figge Art Museum, helping to continue its mission of bringing art and people together.
The Premier Sponsor for Art Off the Wall is Mills Chevrolet in Davenport. Partner Sponsors include: J.F. Ahern Company, Miller Trucking & Excavating, Rick and Nancy Seidler, Bobby Bunch and The Shrikhande Family. The Media Sponsor is KLJB-TV.
