
The U.S. Adult Soccer Association National Cup Finals will be held in the Quad Cities for the first time this weekend at TBK Bank Sports Complex, 4850 Competition Drive, Bettendorf.
Today through Sunday, Aug. 6, the top adult teams from across the country will play at TBK in the premiere amateur tournament for the USASA.Â
Visit Quad Cities submitted a bid to host the competition in the QC in partnership with the Iowa Soccer Association. Â
The tournament schedule includes:Â Â
- Friday, Aug. 4, 7 p.m. – Men’s Amateur SemifinalsÂ
- Saturday, Aug. 5, 10 a.m. – Women’s SemifinalsÂ
- Saturday, noon – Men’s Over 40 SemifinalsÂ
- Saturday, 2 p.m. – Men’s Over 30 SemifinalsÂ
- Saturday, 7 p.m. – Men’s Amateur FinalÂ
- Sunday, Aug. 6, 9 a.m. – Women’s 3rd Place match Â
- Sunday, 10 a.m. – Women’s FinalÂ
- Sunday, 11 a.m. – Men’s Over 40 FinalÂ
- Sunday, noon – Men’s Over 30 FinalÂ
The National Amateur Cup Champion will earn a spot in the U.S. Open Cup competition to compete in the Hank Steinbrecher Cup, according to a Visit QC news release. The National Amateur Cup was established 100 years ago in 1923.Â
