Administrative office professional program info is Dec. 8

A class entitled “Human Trafficking in the QCA: What You Need To Know” is set for 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Scott Community College Urban Campus, 101 W. Third St., Davenport. The class will be in rooms W114/115.

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges (EICC) is offering training programs for students to pursue business and office professionals careers. 

To learn more about two of the college’s programs – Administrative Office Professional and Business Professional, EICC will host an information session at 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8, via Zoom. 

Those attending will have the opportunity to meet with instructors and have all their questions about the programs answered, as well as learn more about financial aid opportunities and how to enroll for classes.

Available in-person or online, the Administrative Office Professional program teaches students how to use advanced software applications, apply accounting and business math concepts, format and compose professional correspondence, deliver customer service and more.

In the Business Professional program, students learn the fundamentals of business from accounting to marketing, management and beyond.
