
“Whose Live Anyway?,” a live improv show featuring current cast members of the Emmy-nominated television program “Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” will be at Davenport’s Adler Theatre at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 1, and can be purchased at the Adler Theatre Box Office, 136 E 3rd St., Davenport. Tickets also will be available online at www.davenportlive.com and www.ticketmaster.com. Prices will start at $55, plus applicable fees. A venue pre-sale is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, at 10 a.m.
“Whose Live Anyway?” is a 90-minute show consisting of improvised comedy and songs based on audience suggestions. The cast includes Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, Ryan Stiles, and Joel Murray. Audience participation is encouraged.
The show features improvisational comedy with gags, one-liners, games, and songs created spontaneously.
Mr. Stiles is known for his roles on “The Drew Carey Show” and “Two and a Half Men.” Mr. Proops has provided voices for animated characters in films such as “Star Wars: Episode 1,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and “Brother Bear.”
Mr. Davis has starred in “Harmonquest,” “Drew Carey’s Green Screen Show,” and “Improv-a-Ganza” and is known for his impressions. Mr. Murray, the youngest of the Murray brothers, is recognized for his recurring roles in “Mad Men” and “Shameless,” and has appeared in films like “One Crazy Summer,” “The Artist,” “Scrooged,” and “Bobcat Goldthwait’s God Bless America.”
The Adler performance will include improv games from the television show and new ones, with musical direction by Bob Derkach. The show is open to all ages.
