For a third consecutive year, Modern Woodmen of America has been ranked as one of The World’s Best Life Insurance Companies 2025 by Forbes.

The annual list was compiled by Forbes with help from market research firm Statista. A survey of more than 45,000 consumers in 15 different countries was conducted via an online access panel.

The Forbes survey considered customers’ overall recommendation, general satisfaction, loyalty, and five subdimensions. They are advice, customer service, price-performance, transparency and damage/benefit service.

To qualify as one of the World’s Best Insurance Companies, an insurance provider had to achieve a minimum score of 70 out of 100. Providers also must receive a designated number of evaluations, and rank among the top performers in its respective country. Modern Woodmen, a Rock Island-based fraternal financial services organization, was among 145 companies in the world that qualified.

“It’s an honor to continually be recognized as one of the best by consumers nationwide,” Modern Woodmen President and CEO Jerry Lyphout said in a news release Thursday, July 17.

“We’ve made a commitment to improve the quality of life for our members. We’re grateful for the belief they have in us and the mission of the organization.”
