Area car enthusiasts can combine their passion with a purpose by volunteering at the monthly Quad City MOPAR Cruise-Ins at Crabby’s in Coal Valley. Volunteers will sell raffle tickets to benefit the free programs offered by the cancer support community at Gilda’s Club for individuals and families affected by cancer.
The initiative has raised more than $14,500 to date.
The cruise-ins take place at Crabby’s Bar & Grill in Coal Valley on the last Tuesday of each month from May through September. Specific dates are May 27, June 24, July 29, August 26, and Sept. 30.
Additionally, the Quad Cities MOPAR Club will host a special event on Sunday, Sept. 14, at Sunset Marina. Four volunteers are needed to sell raffle tickets at this event. Those interested in volunteering or learning more can email [email protected].
