Buffalo seeks input on community plan at workshop Aug. 21

Buffalo Plan

BUFFALO, IOWA – Buffalo city officials and the citizen steering committee are seeking community input as they develop a comprehensive plan for the community.

Buffalo will host a visioning and land use workshop from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the Buffalo Community Center, 426 Clark St.

During the workshop, citizens will learn about the comprehensive planning process and have an opportunity to offer input regarding how future land use and community assets/infrastructure may be developed, where it is preferred and when it may be needed.

The public’s input will help the city set the vision and goals of the comprehensive document. Staff from Bi-State Regional Commission will facilitate the meeting. The meeting is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to become part of the city’s future vision.
