ImpactLife is “on call” for the week of June 24 as a member of the national Blood Emergency Readiness Corps (BERC) and is offering rewards for gift cards for donors.

ImpactLife begins the week with just a two-day supply of type O-negative and a 2.5-day supply of type O-positive red blood cells. Platelet donations from all blood types are also greatly needed.
BERC is a network of community blood centers from across the nation. They are committed to preparing for mass transfusion emergencies. By collecting extra units on a rotating on-call schedule, BERC members establish a ready pool of blood. Those products can be tapped into during disasters, providing an invaluable safety net in times of crisis.
The donor promotions run through June 30. They are:
- Whole blood donation (Donor Centers and mobile blood drives), $20 gift card, $20 donation OR 1,000 points.
- Double red and plasma only donations, $25 gift card, $25 donation OR 1,500 points.
- Platelet donations (donors who have given platelets 2+ times previously with ImpactLife) $25 gift card, $25 donation OR 1,500 points.
- Platelet donations (donor’s first or second attempt to ever give platelets with ImpactLife) $50 gift card, $50 donation OR 3,000 points.
