Esprit de Corps Toastmasters will host a Lunch-n-Learn event with special guest speaker Scott Harris, chief of the Contracting Division with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District. The event will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the Rock Island Arsenal Clock Tower Building Complex, 1500 Rock Island Lane on Arsenal Island.
The event has free admission to the public and will cover the importance of communication and leadership skills for today’s professional.
After hearing from the special guest speaker, members and guests will enjoy an impromptu speaking event called Table Topics, where guests and members are randomly selected to speak for one to two minutes.Â
