By late 2026, Davenport leaders and project developers could begin welcoming families and seniors to live in inviting, affordable remodeled cottages on the Annie Wittenmyer Campus that over the years was home to 12,000 orphans.
That’s according to a preliminary timeline for an ambitious historic redevelopment plan that project manager Chris Ales anticipates will invest $40 million in the nationally and locally recognized historic site.
