QCBT to celebrate 30 years, cut ribbon on Brady Street Branch

QCBT Brady Street Branch

Quad City Bank & Trust (QCBT) will mark its 30th anniversary and celebrate the grand reopening of the newly renovated Brady Street Branch on Wednesday, Jan. 24.

The dual milestone party kicks off with the QCBT 30th Anniversary Celebration in the first floor atrium. It includes a 4:30 p.m. grand reopening of the bank’s branch at 4500 N. Brady St., Davenport. The event is from 4 to 6 p.m, with remarks and ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m. Light appetizers and refreshments also will be served.

The locally owned bank opened on Jan. 7, 1994, on Middle Road in Bettendorf with a large influx of accounts opened that day and hasn’t looked back since, a QCBT news release said.

The new financial institution “quickly became the community bank of choice in the Quad Cities as the bank’s founders recognized a need for reliable, local banking where decisions were made in the community it served and supported,” the release said.

No. 1 in market share

Today, it boasts $2.4 billion in assets, 58 employees and holds the No. 1 spot in market share in the area. QCBT also said it is poised to continue its success.

In addition to strong support of the local community, QCBT said it has kept its promise of maintaining local roots and supporting those who live and work in the Quad Cities.  Employees also are strongly encouraged to volunteer for causes about which they are passionate, the release said.

In 2023 alone, QCBT employees volunteered more than 7,500 hours. In addition, the bank donated more than $500,000 to 97 local organizations last year.

“Our community is what is most important to us. Without them and their support, we wouldn’t be here,” QCBT CEO John Anderson said. “I find great joy in watching our employees pursue their passions and support our community in so many ways each day.”

Branch upgrades significant

The Brady Street branch’s grand opening also is an opportunity to show off the significant upgrades made at the facility during the last three years. That work culminated with the completion of a state-of-the-art, customer-facing space on the main level.

“We are proud to keep our locations up to date with modern amenities to serve our customers’ needs and provide an uplifting and inspiring workspace for our employees,” said Laura “Divot” Ekizian, president and chief relationship officer for QCBT.  After a multi-million-dollar renovation, QCBT is proud to showcase this jewel in the middle of Davenport for all to enjoy, the release said.

Quad City Bank & Trust provides full-service commercial and consumer banking, correspondent banking, trust and asset management services. The bank is headquartered in Bettendorf and includes five convenient locations throughout the Quad Cities area.
