
Quad Cities UnityPoint Health – Trinity nurse Stephanie Moore has been selected as one of 41 Iowa UnityPoint Health professionals to be named 2024 Great Iowa Nurses.
The annual award recognizes nurses for outstanding contributions to their patients, team members and the nursing profession.
“I’m incredibly proud of our nurse honorees and I’m truly grateful for the positive impact they’ve made on the lives of others,” said UnityPoint Health Chief Nursing Officer Sarah Brown.
“They go above and beyond every day, providing the care experience we want our own loved ones to receive.”
Moore is 33-year UnityPoint vet
Ms. Moore, a market team member, has been with UnityPoint Health for 33 years and currently supports the Emergency Department.
“We’re pleased to honor the work of an amazing team member,” UnityPoint Health – Trinity Chief Nursing Office Jane Denten said. “Stephanie is seen as a strong team leader, showing confidence under pressure and able to keep her coworkers motivated and positive.”
Emergency Department Manager Tosha Allen was Ms. Moore’s nominator. She is a 2014 Great Iowa Nurses honoree. “Steph is exceptional with patient care, working hard to make them comfortable in often uncomfortable situations,” she said.
Great Iowa Nurses annually accepts nominations for Iowa-licensed nurses. Honorees have made a significant contribution to the profession. The 2024 recipients will be honored during a virtual recognition ceremony this spring.
