The City of Bettendorf is hosting its annual Winter Carnival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3.
There will be indoor and outdoor activities during the event. The Winter Carnival’s Grand Finale will take place at the Bettendorf Community Center from 2-5 p.m.
The event is being presented with the help of the Bettendorf Public Library, Family Museum and Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department.
“It can be difficult to find fun family activities for all ages during the winter months, so the Winter Carnival is a great opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy the many amenities the City has to offer for free or at a low-cost,” Jillian Aschliman, library director, said in a city news release. “The library is always happy to collaborate with the Family Museum and Parks & Recreation Department for large-scale community events.”
“The Winter Carnival is a great annual family fun event with tons of activities for all ages to enjoy indoors and outdoors,” added Kim Kidwell, the city’s Culture & Recreation director. “The Family Museum, the Community Center, and the Library are happy to host this event to help cure winter boredom.”
