The Freight House will transform into the Fright House After Dark on Friday evenings throughout October.
This month every Friday night will feature a signature activity, food vendors, music, fall activities and face painting from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Freight House,421 W. River Dr., Davenport, and LeClaire Park,400 Beiderbecke Dr., Davenport, the Riverfront Improvement Commission and the City of Davenport announced in a news release.
“We are thrilled to bring this family-friendly event to the Davenport riverfront,” Riverfront Community Engagement Coordinator Stephanie Bley said in the Fright House release.
Special activities at the Fright House include:
- Oct. 6: Outdoor movie, “Casper,” and hayrack rides.
- Oct. 13: The Myers Brothers Band and balloon twisting by Twisted Bo-Kay.
- Oct. 20: Scavenger hunt and Halloween Absolute Science show.
- Oct. 27: Trick or Treating and Caricaturist Leo Kelly.
