IowaWORKS, Davenport, will host its “Opportunity Knocks Monday” hiring event on Monday, Aug. 7, at its workforce center, 1801A E. Kimberly Road.
The job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The weekly events are held every other Monday with a diverse group of employers in attendance.
The lineup of employers Monday are:
- PSSI – Food Safety Sanitor (labor).
- Mediacom Communications – broadband specialist and customer sales and service representative.
- QPS Employment – machine operators, assembly, press operators, part hangers and welders.
- Rock Island Arsenal Child & Youth Services – child & youth program associate.
- Alltown Bus Service – school bus drivers.
- Genesis Health Systems – RN, Lab Tech, MA’s Pharmacy, EMT/paramedics.
- FedEx Ground – part-time package handler.
- Illinois Department of Children and Family Services – clerical, investigations, social work, legal and more throughout Illinois.
- Sears Manufacturing – engineering, forecast analyst, electrician.
- Uniparts Olsen – CNC machinist, LD cut-off machine operator and forklift operator.
