The inaugural Open House for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs event is set for Friday, Sept. 9, at Black Hawk College in Building 3 on the Moline campus.
The program will begin at 10 a.m. followed by an open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is for those thinking about starting a business. Aspiring entrepreneurs will have a chance to meet small business owners and other entrepreneurs.
Among some of the guests scheduled to be at the open house are: Janessa Calderon of the Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber, Mark Holloway of the Quad Cities Chamber, Tom Trone of the Quad Cities SCORE Chapter, and Mark Ferguson of the Small Business Administration.
