Longtime local business leader A.J. Loss will soon join IMEG as national director of infrastructure, based in the firm’s Rock Island office. Mr. Loss will officially join the company on Tuesday, May 5.

In this role, he will work in close partnership with infrastructure leadership to enhance alignment across regions, support consistent delivery, and advance technical excellence across teams.

Mr. Loss brings more than 17 years of leadership experience, having led Quad Cities-based Bush Construction. During his tenure, Bush expanded through multiple subsidiaries, established a multi-state licensing footprint, and completed a successful acquisition in 2024. His background spans commercial construction, architecture, and real estate development, with deep expertise in team development, client engagement, strategic growth, and risk management.

“I’m excited to join IMEG and build on the strength of an already established infrastructure group,” said Mr. Loss said. “The opportunity to bring people together across regions — aligning expertise, sharing knowledge, and delivering more consistently for our clients — is what drew me here. I look forward to supporting that continued momentum.”

“A.J.’s addition builds on the strength of our existing leadership and enhances how we deliver for clients,” said Pat Eikenberry, vice president of infrastructure at IMEG. “His experience complements our team and supports our continued focus on collaboration, consistency, and high-quality outcomes across our infrastructure markets.”

IMEG is a leading engineering design firm with more than 100 offices and 3,200 team members, combining the comprehensive expertise of a national leader with the personal connections of a local firm. Ranked among the top engineering firms in the U.S.
