MUSCATINE, Iowa — New and long-time residents looking to connect with the community are invited to the next Live Muscatine Welcome Orientation from 5:30-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, in the Howe Conference Room at the Muscatine Community YMCA, 1823 Logan St.
A light dinner will be served, and free child care will be provided making it a family-friendly event.
“Muscatine isn’t just a place to live – it’s a community where people grow their careers, build friendships, and enjoy life,” committee member Megan Francis said. “Live Muscatine connects newcomers to the people, programs, and resources that help them feel at home right away.”
Attendees will participate in an informative presentation, network with other newcomers, hear from local leaders and receive practical tips for navigating Muscatine’s services. The event will cover the city’s history and resources for families, aiming to inform and inspire residents to live, work and play in Muscatine.
