Get ready to lace up your sneakers and get into the holiday spirit at the Rotary Reindeer Ramble 5K presented by the Rock Island Rotary Club on Sunday, Dec. 7.
This festive community fun run begins at 1 p.m., with both the start and finish located at Schwiebert Riverfront Park in Downtown Rock Island. The Reindeer Ramble features an out-and-back 5K course along the riverfront, making it a scenic and accessible route for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

Race-day packet pickup and same-day registration also will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Iconic Event Space, located at 1725 2nd Ave. in downtown Rock Island’s Arts Alley.
Following the race, participants and spectators are invited to continue their holiday celebrations at the 2nd Avenue Holiday Market. This family-friendly event will feature a festive reindeer exhibit, train rides, live music, local vendors, food and beverage, and more, making it the perfect way to spend a winter afternoon downtown.
Proceeds from the Reindeer Ramble 5K support the Rock Island Rotary Club’s community programs and service initiatives.
