Figge Art Museum to host winter art market Sunday,  Nov. 30

    The Figge Art Museum will host its annual Winter Art Market on Museum Store from noon to 5 p.m.  Sunday, Nov. 30, offering a festive day of shopping, art and community. Access to the event is free.

    The market invites guests to shop for unique, handcrafted gifts, including original prints, handmade jewelry, artwork and stocking stuffers from local makers.

    Attendees can enjoy a hot chocolate bar and seasonal cocktails while exploring the Figge’s galleries and Museum Store. Special in-store savings and exclusive holiday offerings available only on this day include tax-free shopping and free gift wrapping on Museum Store purchases.

    “Our Winter Art Market is more than just a shopping experience—it’s a celebration of creativity and community,” said Lacey Skorepa, Figge director of marketing and communications. “We invite everyone to join us for a day of art and fun for all ages.”

    The market is scheduled to feature the following participating artists:

    • Berèskin Gallery (Pat Bereskin): Holiday cards and hand-crafted glass ornaments.
    • Estevan Cornejo: Original prints and artful stickers.
    • Pamela Crouch: Mixed-media artwork using repurposed materials.
    • Gina’s Art (Gina Kirschbaum): Vibrant acrylic and mixed-media paintings, poster prints and greeting cards.
    • B. Hueting Creates (Barbara Hueting): Handmade jewelry in sterling silver, copper, recycled metals and gemstones.
    • Peptic Robot Press (Joseph Lappie): Relief prints, artist’s books and letterpress broadsides.
    • The Light Within – Dyes & Designs (Chelsea Long): Ice-dyed, one-of-a-kind wearable art.
    • Grace Lutheran WELCA Quilters (Luanne Taylor): Handmade quilts, towels and gifts.
    • Jeff Ignatious: Photography.
    • Chereal Designs (Cheryl Weatherford): Nature-inspired jewelry.
    • Amber Williams: Analog collage using repurposed materials.
    • Annie Peters: Paintings, drawings, handmade books and embroidery.
    • Martha Barnds Art: Original watercolor paintings and hand-pulled prints.
    • Art with Atticus (Atticus Norman): Expressive, intuitive paintings and mixed-media works.
    • Connie Sherman: Marbled papers.
    • Brad Bisbey: Expressive landscape and still-life paintings.
    • Susmita Kumar: Traditional Indian Madhubani painting.
