CORALVILLE, Iowa — The Iowa Women’s Foundation (IWF) announced $400,000 in grant funding to 13 organizations across the state at its annual luncheon last week. Among them were three Quad Cities area organzations.

The grants support IWF’s mission to improve the lives of Iowa women and girls by funding programs that address evidence-based barriers to economic self-sufficiency. Grantmaking is one of IWF’s five pillars of sustainable change, alongside research, education, advocacy and collaboration.

“Every single day, these organizations are hands-on, showing up and supporting Iowa’s women and girls,” President and CEO Deann Cook said. “Their work is vital, and grantmaking allows them to cover more ground and address immediate barriers.”

The 2025 area grant recipients included the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque,  Dubuque; Dubuque Area Labor-Management Council, Dubuque; Family Resources, Davenport; Lead(h)er, Davenport; and Vince Jetter Community Center, Clinton.

To date, the foundation has awarded $2.3 million to 249 organizations serving Iowa women and girls. Keynote speaker Anne Nizzi Clark, director of the Caitlin Clark Foundation, also addressed attendees.
