CLINTON, Iowa – Antonia “Toni” Gerks has been hired as the new director of marketing and event planning for Grow Clinton.
The nonprofit organization is dedicated to promoting business growth, building community, and advocating for the sustainable economic success of the Greater Clinton region.
In this role, Ms. Gerks will partner with Grow Clinton investors to develop networking opportunities and events that highlight the nearly 500 businesses, organizations, and individuals that make up the Grow Clinton membership. Her leadership will play a key role in advancing the organization’s mission and strengthening community connections throughout the region.
“Toni arrives at Grow Clinton equipped with the skills and creative drive necessary to propel our organization forward,” said Andy Sokolovich, president and CEO of Grow Clinton. “Being part of an organization deeply committed to growth, connection, and community will allow her to further her professional accomplishments and build a rock-solid network.”
“I look forward to hearing her fresh ideas and experiencing her creative energy as she markets our events,” he added in a news release. “Only in her third week, Toni has already developed a new initiative titled Seed of Cities, more to come on that effort.”
Grow Clinton said Ms. Gerks brings a global perspective to her new position, shaped by her multicultural upbringing and appreciation for diversity.
“Having grown up in Germany to Greek parents, I’ve always valued cultural diversity and collaboration,” she said in the release. “I’m eager to bring that international perspective to my
