A new baseball and softball training center has opened inside the TBK Bank Sports Complex in northern Bettendorf.
The Inside The Lines Training Center is located in the former ELI1 space at the sports complex at 4850 Competition Drive. The sports complex is located in the growing business district called The Plex.
The new training facility offers a comprehensive suite of training opportunities for athletes of all levels. Services include memberships, one-on-one and group lessons, seasonal camps and clinics, as well as batting cage and facility rentals.
“Inside The Lines Training Center is a game-changer for local and regional baseball and softball athletes,” Cory Harris, general manager of Inside The Lines, said in a news release. “Our goal is to provide top-tier instruction, state-of-the-art facilities, and year-round access to training that fosters player development at every stage.”
The training center will co-host a Youth Baseball Coaches Meeting that will be open to all area coaches. That meeting will be from 6:30-9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at The Dish Bar and Grill, located next to the training center. The event, which will be held in partnership with JP Sports and USSSA Baseball, also will serve as an open house for Inside The Lines.
This meeting is open to all youth baseball coaches and provides an opportunity to connect with fellow coaches, discuss the upcoming 2026 season, and enjoy an evening focused on the game.
Some of the meeting’s highlights will include:
- Guest speakers covering baseball development and program updates.
 - Opportunities to talk baseball and schedule games for the 2026 season.
 - Drink tickets and light appetizers hosted by JP Sports.
 - Facility tours of Inside The Lines Training Center.
