MUSCATINE, IA – The Muscatine Lions Club will hold its annual Soup Supper on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will take place at The Salvation Army, located at 1000 Oregon Street, near Musser Park.
The Soup Supper is the club’s largest annual fundraiser, with donations accounting for 20% of its annual giving budget. All publicly raised donations are distributed back to the Muscatine community.
This fall, the Muscatine Lions Club will fund an accessible sidewalk for the wheelchair-bound residents of Harmony House, connecting them to the Discovery Park trail system. The project also includes a bench at the trail connection. Funding is provided by the club and the Lions Clubs International Foundation District and Club Community Impact Grants program.
The club is seeking donations to help fulfill its commitment to the community for the 2025-2026 Lions year. Donations can be made by checks payable to: Muscatine Lions Club, (Memo line: Soup Supper), P.O. Box 173, Muscatine, IA 52761.
