The Bettendorf Police and Fire departments will host the inaugural Public Safety Open House from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 4, at their conjoining stations next to City Hall in Downtown Bettendorf.
The free, family-friendly event will offer attendees an up-close look at police cars and firetrucks, an inside tour of both stations, and opportunities to interact with police officers and firefighters. Complimentary donuts, coffee, juice, and hot chocolate will be available.
Free parking will be provided at City Hall, 1609 State St., and 15th Street Landing, at the intersection of 15th and State streets.
