The YWCA Quad Cities and the Clean River Advisory Council will host an Environmental Community Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at 513 17th St. in Rock Island.
This free, family-friendly event aims to raise environmental awareness and inspire action. Attendees can expect a variety of activities and resources, including information on community resources for sustainable living; hands-on activities for all ages; educational sessions on various environmental topics and giveaways.
The fair is designed to empower individuals and families to positively impact the environment by highlighting local resources and opportunities. The goal is to encourage community members to engage in building a cleaner, greener Quad Cities.
