YWCA Quad Cities’ ThePlace2B will host a free career fair for all Quad Cities youth from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at its 513 17th St., Rock Island, facility.
The event offers young people an opportunity to explore various careers in the trades field and connect directly with local professionals from John Deere. Attendees can learn about in-demand opportunities, ask questions and gain insight into the skills needed to succeed in hands-on, high-growth industries.
“This career fair is designed to open doors for youth in our community,” said Edwin Salazar, director of ThePlace2B at YWCA Quad Cities. “We’re excited to provide a welcoming space where young people can discover career paths and connect with mentors who can help guide their futures.”
No registration is required for the event. It is open to all youth from the Quad Cities area.
