Argrow’s House of Healing and Hope will host its 8th annual gala, “Clothed with Dignity and Pearls,” on Thursday, Sept. 18, at The J Bar in Davenport.
The event, which runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m., will celebrate the strength and resilience of domestic violence and abuse survivors while highlighting the organization’s mission.
This year’s gala will particularly honor the first three graduates of the Argrow’s House workforce development program, who will share their personal stories.
“This graduation is a testament of hope, joy, and strength,” said Dr. Kit Evans-Ford, founder of Argrow’s House. “We celebrate courageous survivors of violence, women who are working hard, overcoming their obstacles, clothed in dignity, and thriving.”
The annual gala is the largest Argrow’s House fundraising event, bringing together community leaders and supporters. Attendees will enjoy dinner, inspiring stories, live entertainment, and both silent and live auctions. All proceeds will support Argrow’s House’s continued work in the Quad Cities.
Funds raised directly support free services for women survivors of violence, including counseling, support groups, vocational training, and safe employment opportunities through Argrow’s social enterprise bath and body business.
Community members are encouraged to reserve their seats early. Tickets are available through this link.
