Downtown Davenport will step back to the golden era of jazz and vintage burlesque for a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring “New Year’s Reverie” at the Adler Theatre and the “FANfare” countdown to 2026 at the Hotel Blackhawk on Wednesday, Dec. 31.
The evening begins at the adjacent Adler Theatre with a Burlesque Showcase unlike anything the Quad Cities has seen before. Headlining the night is Chicago jazz sensation Brooklyn Britches and the Whispers, joined by an international cast of performers including Ms. Honey Bee Rose, Miss Nyxon, Hot Tawdry, Yulietta & Fana, and local luminaries Mac DeVille and Dannie Diesel (Danielle Colby).
Following the Alder performance, guests can join the “Second Line,” a New Orleans tradition where attendees parade behind musicians and performers to the next venue.
The celebration continues next door at Hotel Blackhawk‘s historic Gold Room for the “FANfare” Countdown to 2026 Party. Gin Rummy, featuring Dannie Diesel and legendary musician Soda Gardocki, will pay tribute to Sally Rand, who once graced the hotel’s Gold Room.
Doors open for the pre-party at 8 p.m. at the Adler. The Live Band Burlesque Show will run from 9-11 p.m. The Second Line Live music parade from the Adler to Hotel Blackhawk’s Gold Room and FANfare Countdown to 2026 Party is immediately following.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at ticketmaster.com or in-person at the Adler Theatre Box Office. Guests are encouraged to wear festive/cocktail; vintage glamour and fantastical looks.
