This year’s rappelers include Happy from Happy Joe’s, superintendents from Davenport, North Scott, Pleasant Valley, DeWitt, Hampton, Moline-Coal Valley, and East Moline school districts, Sarah Stringer and Megan Johnson from B100, Andrew and Allie from the Good Neighbor Project, eight Bigs with the program, and dozens of other community leaders and supporters who are stepping up – literally – for local kids.
“Over the Edge is one of our most exciting and visible events,” said Jay Justin, CEO at BBBSMV. “Every person who rappels is helping us provide the mentoring relationships that our youth need to thrive. With more than 200 local youth currently on our waiting list, events like this are critical to connecting kids with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters they need.”
