The Quad Cities’ vibrant culinary scene will be on full display next week as residents and visitors alike join in the 14th Annual QC Restaurant Week.
The weeklong celebration, which runs from Monday, April 6, to Sunday, April 12, is an annual event to showcase all the region’s local favorites and some new eateries. Hosted by Visit Quad Cities, the week involves more than 80 restaurants participating with deals and specials to draw in patrons.

“QC Restaurant Week is more than a promotional event. It’s about celebrating and recognizing the passion and dedication of the people behind every dish, every table, and every dining experience,” Katrina Keuning, Visit QC’s brand and content strategist, told the QCBJ. “This week allows residents and visitors to revisit old favorites, discover something new, and support the local restaurants that help shape the QC.”
New this year, Visit QC is launching a special competition in partnership with the Iowa Pork Producers, one of the local Restaurant Week sponsors. Participating restaurants are invited to submit their pork dishes along with a high-quality photo to be highlighted through both Visit QC and Iowa Pork’s social media channels. Then patrons will be asked to vote for their favorite. The restaurant with the most votes will receive a $250 prize. Restaurants can submit their entries for Our QC Pork Dish here.
As part of the festivities, standout hospitality professionals will be celebrated through the Restaurant Stars program. Selected from nominations by customers, fellow staff and others, a few stars will be surprised at their workplaces. Visit QC staff will recognize these Restaurant Stars’ dedication and contributions to the local dining and bar scene as well as present them with a special gift.
Back for a second year, is Restaurant Week’s free mobile pass powered by Bandwango. This tool provides a seamless way to explore participating restaurants, view special deals and discounts, and check in at locations, all without downloading an app.
