The historic Union Station in downtown Davenport is getting ready to celebrate a milestone birthday.
An open house will be held from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, to celebrate the 100th birthday of Union Station, located on the riverfront at 102 S. Harrison St.
The celebration will include live music, remarks by Quad Cities leaders and a special announcement at 3:30 p.m.
The building is being used as a Destination Center for Visit Quad Cities to show many of the features of the region. Visit QC celebrated the center with an open house in November 2022.
