Made Market returns Dec. 5, 6 for holiday shopping extravaganza

    Made Market  will return this weekend at The Bend XPO, 922 Mississippi Parkway, East Moline,  offering a two-day shopping event featuring over 150 small businesses, Friday, Dec. 5, from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

    Shoppers can browse a wide array of products from more than 150 small businesses, including handmade goods, vintage finds, boutiques, woodworking, jewelry, holiday decor and treats. A full vendor list is available online. Some of the vendors include Salvaged Living, Rise in the East Bakery, and Jewelry by Jen.

    In addition to shopping, the event will feature live music throughout the weekend. Chloe Mae will perform Friday from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9-11 a.m. Mo Carter is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, followed by Alex Axup from 1-3 p.m.

    The first 50 shoppers in line each day will receive a free Made tote bag, some of which contain hidden “Made Bucks.”

    Festive photo opportunities will be available, including appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon. Attendees can also ask for the signature “Jingle Balls” drink.

    Tickets can be purchased online at www.mademarketqc.com or at the door. Tickets are valid for both days, and children 16 and under are admitted free.

    A give-away is currently running for four free tickets and $100 Made Market Bucks. Entry details can be found on the Made Market Facebook page.
